About the job
To assist the Department Lead in the smooth, efficient, economic daily operation of the hatchery Chick Dispatch, To maintain and improve standards of hatcheries, chick quality, hygiene, chick welfare and overall hatcheries performance.
What you’ll be doing
- Organising daily work routines, paperwork and scheduling.
- Maintain and monitor the hygiene programme
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of all hatchery equipment.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to
- Ensure all aspects of animal welfare are understood and upheld fully
- Contribute to good communications between management and operatives
