About the job
We are looking for dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Parcel Sorters at East Midlands Airport. This dynamic role is vital to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of parcel logistics at one of the UK’s busiest airports. As a Parcel Sorter, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient sorting of parcels and packages for distribution to various destinations.
As this role is based in an airport, all candidates must pass aviation vetting checks, including a DBS check, security clearance, right-to-work verification, and identity verification before starting.
What you’ll be doing
- Sort parcels based on destination, weight, and size
- Handle packages with care and follow security standards.
- Load and unload parcels from vehicles and containers.
- Work with the team to meet deadlines and targets.
- Operate and maintain parcel sorting machinery.
- Follow all health, safety, and airport security rules.
