About the job
The Warehouse Runner supports the packing operation by maintaining a steady flow of work throughout the shift. Duties include moving parcels onto the conveyor, keeping packers supplied with orders and packaging materials, removing completed pick trollies and returning them to the picking area. The role requires a proactive approach, good awareness of the packing area and the ability to support the team without waiting to be instructed.
What you’ll be doing
- Maintaining a continuous flow of parcels onto the conveyor.
- Keeping packers supplied with orders at their benches.
- Removing completed pick trollies and returning them to picking.
- Keeping packing benches stocked with bubble wrap, boxes and materials.
- Monitoring packing area and identifying where support is needed.
- Maintaining the flow of work rather than waiting to be instructed.
