About the job
Unipart UK, a leading logistics and supply chain management company, is seeking a Warehouse Operative for our VW Dordon facility. In this role, you will assist in the efficient operation of the warehouse with picking, checking, storeing and packing car parts i.e. car doors, bonnets, hoods and oils manually and using RDT technology to a high standard of accuracy. You must be physically fit as job role requires heavy lifting of goods up to 25 kg.
What you’ll be doing
- Pick, check, store and pack automotive goods
- Pull and prepare product for shipment
- Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness
- Report any errors, damages or quality issues
- Frequent heavy lifting required, job involves a lot of walking
- Having the basic knowledge and ability to use computers
