About the job
• Ensure empty trailers are on the relevant outbound docks and secured for loading
• Ensure all trailers are moved around the site in a safe and secure manner following all site H&S procedures, reporting any incidents, damages or near misses
• Ensure customer material is not damaged
• Complete scheduled movements of trailers around the site
• Ensure correct completion of any documentation.
• Accurately record working and driving hours
• Achieve targets, productivity, service and compliance.
• Ensure health and safety rules of the site are strictly adhered to
• Operating IT Systems
What you’ll be doing
- Move trailers and containers within the yard
- Position trailers for loading and unloading
- Perform safety checks on vehicles
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard
- Use of Shunter vehicle
