About the job
Ensure maximum effectiveness of all paper product manufacturing equipment. Fault find and rectify
where possible and within capability, notifying engineering when issues are outside of remit.
Overcome minor technical issues which limit operational equipment effectiveness and make
recommendations to improve efficiency. Working in a team to maximise production.
What you’ll be doing
- Set up equipment to specification and monitor product quality.
- Meet production targets and maximise machine output at all times.
- Keep the Shift Leader informed of production status and issues.
- Find faults and make repairs or adjustments where possible.
- Contact Engineering when repairs are beyond the Operator's ability.
- Complete first-off quality checks and make adjustments as needed.
