Join us as a Chef in a full-time role supplying planes at Glasgow Airport, You will be an essential engine behind the scene to provide glamour. Tasks involves preparing, measuring, cooking, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety in a fast-paced environment. You will work effectively with a team to ensure smooth operations and strict adherence to exact specification and recipe. The mandatory vetting process, we will conduct a check of your 5 years background within the UK. A Basic DBS check will be obtained and is not needed when you apply. AVSEC training will be provided.
What you’ll be doing
- Food preparation and cooking for airline catering
- Handling and preparing various meats-include pork for airline catering
- Ensuring all food quality and safety standards are consistently met.
- Strictly adhering to exact specifications and recipes.
- Checking food stacking and ensuring proper storage.
- Working in a chilled environment periodically.
