About the job
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Operative to join our lenses manufacturing team. The role involves handling and inspecting optical lenses, operating machinery, assembling lens components, and ensuring all products meet strict quality standards. You will work in a clean, controlled environment, following safety procedures and production targets. Ideal candidates will have good hand-eye coordination, a strong focus on quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a team.
What you’ll be doing
- Picking all product types (lenses, cases, accessories).
- Processing sales orders accurately through to dispatch.
- Consolidating sales orders by store as required.
- Undertaking sort process, checking orders and ensuring accuracy
- Checking orders, resolving errors, wrapping and packing to standard.
- Sort orders to correct hubs, stack and wrap pallets safely
