About the job
We’re looking for reliable individuals to join our team as Cargo operatives at East Midlands Airport. You’ll help ensure parcels are accurately sorted for distribution in a fast-paced airport environment. All candidates must complete aviation vetting checks (DBS, ID, right-to-work) – all completed by us free of charge. A valid Cargo Operative (C.O.) certificate is required, but free training is provided to obtain this.
MUST HAVE LIVED IN THE UK FOR AT LEAST 5 YEARS
MUST HAVE A CLEAN CRIMINAL RECORD
MUST HAVE SOME WAREHOUSING EXPERIENCE
What you’ll be doing
- Sort parcels based on destination, weight, and size
- Handle packages with care and follow security standards.
- Load and unload parcels from vehicles and containers.
- Work with the team to meet deadlines and targets.
- Operate and maintain parcel sorting machinery.
- Follow all health, safety, and airport security rules.
