About the job
We are recruiting for Forklift driver to join a large logistics company based at Southampton Docks to assist during them with their online orders and distribution to retailers. They have 3 sites in Southampton, currently based in Millbrook (docks), Nursling and Hedge end.
Forklift driver Requirements:
Previous experience working as a forklift driver would be an advantage.
Good communication skills (ability to understand and speak English without assistance.
Comfortable with manual handling and working in a fast paced environment.
Please be aware, this job will include manual handling, a health and safety induction will be done on site.
What you’ll be doing
- Picking and packing items in the warehouse, ready for dispatch.
- Load and unload vehicles and containers.
- Counting, checking goods in.
- Support stock counts.
- Data entry.
- General housekeeping.
- All other warehouse duties as required.
